Israel Experience 2005

[Day 4 - 17th June 2005]

Wow, how time flies!!!!! It's Day 4 in Jerusalem! We had our Day Session today in the hotel from about 8.30am to about 1pm. It's learning session by 4 speakers including Pst Ulf! We learnt alot indeed and of course the significance of us in the Holy Land today! We're here to see the biblical history and also the biblical present!!!

Today is rather a light activity day. We're going to go shopping in the afternoon then head on for our service after our dinner!

Oh, going shopping is NOT as easy as 1, 2, 3 . All of us had an important mission today! Karen and I had list out our "Things to buy" list for our dearest cell group members, friends and family!!! WAH!!! Headache ah! but we had lots of fun and bargains too...oooooh...


We're back at Mount of Olives...instead of shopping here, Karen, me, Shumin and Soon ki went sightseeing instead!!! 


See the antenna, someone said that this could be the spot where Jesus ascended to Heaven...myth??? might be, but look at the previous picture, realised the name of the place? It says Chapel of Ascension...well, it could be this area but not the antenna...we're at the Mount of Olives! Have I ring a bell? 


Trying hard not to block the view... 


Here we are at an important place - The Jaffa Gate in the Old City! This is where our shopping mission begins!!!!

Here are some Jewish kids! Look at their complexion! oops...well, they're not here on a class outing...they are on a mission too! 


Here I am, at the Pavillion where we are going to have our weekend service! This hall is also another great testimony of a church who had their building fund to have this place as their place of worship!
